Some Tips About Flash Fiction

"1. Understand flash fiction!!!
2. Don't take four pages to say what you can in two.
3. I need to care about the characters, even if the forest is the main character. Yes, that happened in a story.
4. If it's experimental make sure everyone is along for the ride. Ex. Take a leap, but show how to make the leap. Like one of my mentor's used to say...the more abstract your world is the more you need to create that world."
